s'up?

so, I was going thru my old blog posts, looking for a picture of a painting I did a year or so ago~ because, in the kicking&biting-scuffle called DIVORCE~ all of my photos (including all of my ARTWORK!) magically dissapeared ~ ERASED off the computer! funny coincidence? i think not.

anyway~ i got into reading some posts from last summer & i found myself INSPIRED! inspired to tell you more, inspired to stop holding back, inspired to put it all out there again~

so. i am.

but, first, a REEEEEEEEEALLY FUNNY & a little frustrating tale from the motherhood trenches! ok, so! the other day, Franky & I are in the laundry room, getting him a clean outfit for school. (the laundry room door is LITERALLY 2 feet away from the bathroom door. you'll see why this is important in about 30 seconds :)

anyway, i reach down to grab a sock off the laundry room floor~ and it's WET...(weird!)...then i rub my hand around on the ground....WET! (even weirder!) ~ i'm thinking the washing machine is leaking! then, i see the outside of the cat litter box is WET! (at this point Frank is looking at me weird, but, i DON'T CLUE IN!) ...the cat's litterbox has a cover~ with an air vent on the top...so, i'm saying "WHAT THE HECK IS ALL THIS???"...then i see WET on the TOP of the litterbox cover ~...and IN THE VENT!!!... i give Frank "the eyes"...and he lets out, "IM SO SO SO SORRY MOM! I REEEEEEALLY HAD TO PEE! I COULDN'T WAIT!!!".....

OMG! he PEED in the cat litter box (thru the vent in the TOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am laughing, and crying & smiling & telling Frank ~ "next time, take 2 steps & use the TOILET! You are NOT a cat!?!?!?"

oooooooooooooooooooh my~ GOOD TIMES!!!

i'm really feeling the need to get my ass in gear & get my shit together ~ in more ways than one! but, i'll tell you what~ as a single mom with 3 kids, 2 dogs, & 2 cats~ (& a certain dark shadow, lurking behind every corner, ready & waiting to kick my feet out from under me at any moment) . . .it can be pretty tough! and you know what they say???


when the going gets tough...

so~

i'm going to do the "be the change challenge" , which means:

quit smoing

eat healthier

workout/yoga at LEAST 5 times a week

ART daily

...

and, i'm sure i'll be adding more to the list!

ok~ am i rambling??? 2 more days of school for the kids & then SUMMER VACATION!

which, by the way, is the time we ALWAYS go to Utah for 2 weeks to visit my family.

WHICH, by the way, we WILL NOT be doing this year~

BECAUSE~

in this kicking & biting scuffle called DIVORCE ~

someone thinks he needs to CONTROL me still!

and, since we are in Canada~ (even though me & my kids are all US CITIZENS) we are not "ALLOWED" to leave British Columbia without his "PERMISSION" ~ and, since that is the only thing he can control~ of course, he WON'T LET US GO!!!

yep! You heard me right! He is keeping me from my mom & dad, my sisters & brothers, neices, nephews, aunt, grandma, grandpa, granny, friends~

we're not ALLOWED to go visit them in Oregon when the baby is BORN!?!?!?

he is keeping our kids from their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents & friends~

yep. yep. yEP!

I tell you~ it's abso-FREAKING-lutely mind-boggling the things that go on!

ridiculous, actually, the way he thinks he has the RIGHT to keep us from our family. disgusting, is more like it. makes me want to vomit.

BLAAAAAAAAAH!

BAWAAAAAAAAA!!!
